Itinerary - Tunisia and Spain - April 24 to May 12
April 24
Fly to Tunis, Tunisia for a week at a beach resort in
Hammamet
April 25-30
Spend time at the resort and tour the country to explore
the Roman ruins in El Jem and Carthage. Visit Tunis and Sidi
Bou Said.
May 1
Late flight back to Madrid with an overnight at an airport
hotel.
May 2-6
In a rental car drive to northern Spain.
Staying in the coastal village of Arrisondas, west of Bilboa.
We will make day trips to San Sebastian, Bilboa, and the Costa
Verde.
May 7-8
Stay two nights in Alquezar in the Pyrennes Mountains near
Huenca.
May 9-12
Barcelona with it’s fantastic Gaudi buildings, many
museums. Visit the International Exhibition that begins on May
9th.
May 12-16
Fly to Berlin from Barcelona. Stay at the
Hotel Rheingold. Visit many museums and historical sites. Make
plans for future travel to Krakow, Prague, Budapest and
Vienna.
We meet the Jacksons in Amsterdam on June 14th.
